URBACT programme launches database of good practices
For about 15 years, the URBACT programme has been the European Territorial Cooperation programme aiming to foster sustainable integrated urban development in cities across Europe. URBACT is now proposing an in depth look at the experience of more than 90 European cities on topics as diverse as Gender Equality (Umea), Spring Clean Up Campaign (Tallinn) or Refugee Solidarity (Ghent). In the field of ageing, Several practices are targeting older persons directly, such as the McAuley Place for older people in Ireland, or Badalona (Spain) efforts to become an age-friendly city.
Screen the database here to find what other European cities are doing in the fields of inclusion, environment, integrated urban development, governance and economy.
